Day 3 Prayer Journey

Today's prayer journey is based on Luke 10:20. Jesus sent out the 72 disciples. They came back rejoicing that even the demons were subject to them. Jesus said to them,"do not rejoice about the demons, but rejoice that your names have been written down in the Book of Life". Today I have made the connection between the 72 disciples rejoicing over the demons and the Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel was constructed for man to rule above God and worship the demonic gods. God gave man 72 languages with a demon god to rule over each language group. The 72 disciples authority over the demons reveals that God has complete authority over the 72 demon Gods. God has given his followers power and authority over every demonic spirit. We rejoice over every person who chooses to follow Jesus. We are commissioned to take up every weapon of spiritual warfare and take down every demonic spirit.
